Operation Christmas Child

After church on Sunday, Jeff, Abbey, and I took our Sunday School kids to lunch and then shopping for our Operation Christmas Child boxes. We had a goal of filling 20 boxes, but our kids were amazing and we ended up filling 31 boxes. We had already bought some things, then we had the kids bring money and took them to Wal-Mart. The kids worked hard to find things the children getting boxes would enjoy. We went back to church to organize everything we bought and to fill the boxes. I am so proud of our class. This is such a great ministry and I'm glad that our church chooses to participate in it every year. We took a class picture and hopefully some of our kids will get a letter from the recipients of the boxes.
