We had a big family Easter this year. Mom fixed a great lunch and we had about 35 people over. It was good getting to catch up with family and neighbors. This year was different from last year. Caroline was actually interested in hunting eggs this year. Now, she only liked them if there was candy inside, but last year she had not interest whatsoever. The older kids had to be bribed to hunt eggs. They only wanted to find the eggs that had money in them. At last count there were still three eggs hidden out there that no one could find! Hunting eggs and getting together with family is fun, but the most important part of Easter is remembering Jesus and the sacrifice of His life to save us from our sins.
