I love baking cookies and cutting them with cookie cutters, especially during the holidays. My favorite kind of cookie to make is old-fashioned tea cakes using my grandmother's recipe. This year I got to bake cookies with Caroline. We didn't make them from scratch, but we cut them into shapes and made a great big mess. It was so much fun and she was so excited to bake her first cookies. All she wanted to make were "ladies," otherwise known as gingerbread ladies. We made them and shared them with KK, Grandaddy, and Parker. Caroline said they were the best cookies she had ever eaten!
Cookies are done and we're covered in flour!
