Sunscreen

OK, so we've been in Florida having a blast all weekend. None of us are ready to leave tomorrow to come home. It has been so nice and relaxing. But today we went to the beach. The weather was beautiful. The water was cold, but we went in anyway. Now, on to the sunscreen. When you're little, your parents always drown you in sunscreen so you won't get burnt. The only problem is that as a child all you want to do is get in the water so you don't stay still for your parents and you end up with weird sunburns because the sunscreen didn't get applied evenly. Yes, I've actually had a handprint on my leg before. Well, since we are older, we all put on the sunscreen before we left the house so that it could sink in and wouldn't get washed off. We even used 50. So, we go to the beach and enjoy the day. Then we get home and see how red we all are. It seems that the only places we got sunburnt were the places we put the sunscreen. Now, what is wrong with this picture? I guess it was just meant for me to go home a red tomato once again.
